Meet Wally and Cindy Kerr

Wally Kerr

An Oklahoma native, Wally began his real estate career in 1987 after owning and operating a mobile disc jockey company called Mobile Music Unlimited.   He and 2 partners founded the company in 1979. By the early 2000s, that business had performed at over 5,400 events with 5 mobile disc jockey units.  He owned and operated this business while he earned a BBA from the University of Oklahoma in 1984. Wally was convinced in 1987 to pursue a career in real estate by his longtime friend and real estate mogul, Gene McKown. 

Wally was the official Sooner Club tailgate prior to each home football game for 28 years at the University of Oklahoma, until Covid changed everything in our world  Friends with Joe Castiglione, Joe trusted Wally to entertain a crowd of 4,500 to 6,000 "rabid" football fans.  Wally carried a cordless microphone and was spontaneous with the throngs for fans, doing trivia, coaches interviews and fan fun. 

In addition, The Kerr Team is a big supporter and donates generously to the Children's Hospital Foundation.  In 2018, Wally MC'ed the annual CHF "Dancing for a Miracle" event for about 1000 guests.  Finally, our charity work continues in the fight to find a cure for Parkinson's disease. Huge supporters of local OB/GYN Nicole Jarvis, the Kerr's have donated over $40,000 since 2012.   Dr. Jarvis has two twin sons that she raises on her own, along with the strong support of her parents.  She is on the Michael J Fox Parkinson's team, and her local gala has raised over $1,000,000 for Parkinson's research.  

Wally became a Rotarian in 2009 and is a member of Norman's oldest Rotary Club that had it's 100th anniversary in 2018.   Ron Burton, former Rotary International President in 2016, is a member of the same club. 

Cindy Kerr

As a Southern California native, Cindy came to Oklahoma in 1993 after meeting Wally at a real estate convention in Cancun Mexico.   Throughout the years she has always availed herself of cutting-edge marketing training, but this particular time she also met her future husband, Wally.  Cindy began her real estate career in California in 1987 and  gained experience marketing homes there in various price ranges.  Cindy was honored there with a prestigious award by her national franchise as a top producer.

Moving to Oklahoma from Southern California was a natural fit for Cindy.  She has had horses all her life and actually brought her horse to Oklahoma in the move.    Cindy has enjoyed many equestrian aspects including riding English and jumping, dressage and Western Pleasure.  She  trail rides at lakes and parks all over the metro in her free time.   She looks forward to  riding and meeting multiple generations enjoying Nature.  She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty and frequently takes trail-trimming tools and can be seen cutting branches and limbs from the back of her Quarter Horse, Chip.    Cindy is a Trail Ambassador for the state-wide equestrian association, Oklahoma Equestrian Trail Riders Association, known as OETRA.  With thousands of members all over the state, the association promotes all activities equestrian including trail riding, shows, and other events.  She is a liaison to Oklahoma State Parks providing expertise on trail design and maintenance.

Cindy has designed 2 different horse property facilities of her own and enjoys sharing her knowledge of equestrian amenities  with her real estate buyers.
